Terms and Conditions -
By participating in this competition (the “contest”), you (“contestant” or “entrant” or “you”) agrees to abide by the following Official Terms, Conditions and Rules, including all eligibility requirements, and understands that the results of the competition, as determined by The Club, Sponsors and their agents, are final in all respects.
The promoter is Avalon Bulldogs JRLFC.
Competition name is Avalon Bulldogs Mother’s Day Competition 2024.
The competition is open to residents of the Northern Beaches Sydney except anyone otherwise associated with or involved with the judging of the competition.
There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

The competition is running on Facebook and Instagram.
Only two entries as per the rules of the competition will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
Start date: Monday 29th April, 2024. Closing date for entry will be Thursday 9th May, 2024. After the closing date no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows:
The entrant must be following and like the Avalon Bulldogs page on Facebook and/or Instagram in order to enter (as relevant per platform).
The entrant must like the Avalon Bulldogs competition post on Facebook and/or Instagram.
The entrant must tag someone special in a comment on the competition post on Facebook and/or Instagram.
The entrant will receive a second entry in the draw for sharing the post to their story on Instagram.
The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God, or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be available on the promoters website.
The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
The prize is as follows:
Feels Pilates Voucher for Three Classes.
Sauna Amalfi Infrared Sauna Three Sessions.
Deesse Gift Voucher valued at $100 inc GST.
Total prize value is $290 (inc GST).
The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
The Avalon Bulldogs Mother’s Day Competition is a game of chance.
One (1) winner will be drawn by a member appointed by the club. The winner will be drawn at 12:00pm on Friday 10th May, 2024.
The winner will be notified by DM on Facebook and/or Instagram on Friday 10th May, 2024. The winner will only ever be contacted by Avalon Bulldogs Club. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected.
The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by New South Wales law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sydney NSW.
The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
The winner’s first name and suburb will be available 28 days after the closing date by emailing the following address: info@avalonbulldogs.com.au.
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to Avalon Bulldogs and not to any other party. The information provided will be used in conjunction with the following Privacy Policy found at https://avalonbulldogs.com.au/.
Avalon Bulldogs’ decision as to those able to take part and the selection of winners is final. No correspondence relating to the competition will be entered into.
Avalon Bulldogs shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage.
Avalon Bulldogs also reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.
Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, the Promoter (including its respective committee members, officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion, including: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorized access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of a prize.
The promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by:
defects, delays and any other problems affecting technical equipment or telecommunication systems
infection by computer virus, bugs, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the promoter
tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud
the intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changed the result or prevents or hinders its determination, including but not limited to: vandalism, power failures, civil unrest, strikes, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God.
The promoter can disqualify any individual who the promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions and /or engaged in any unlawful or other misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper running of the competition.
