On Friday night at the Manly Warringah Presentation Night, we proudly accepted the A Grade Premiership Trophy — but the celebrations didn’t stop there.
We are incredibly proud to share that Avalon Bulldogs Rugby League Club was also awarded the most prestigious honour in the district – the H. Pop Hall Memorial Award (Club of the Year). This award is presented annually to the club judged to have done the most for the rugby league code in the district — and out of 12 clubs, we won!
This is the first time since 1994 that Avalon has received this incredible recognition, and it truly reflects the passion, dedication, and hard work of everyone involved in our club — from players and coaches to volunteers, committee members, and supporters.
On behalf of the club, Jaz and Matto would like to sincerely thank every single person who helped make this possible. It’s an absolute honour to be recognised, and every member of the Avalon Bulldogs community should be proud of the role they’ve played in growing and supporting rugby league in our area.
A special congratulations also goes to Jazmin Ball, who was awarded Volunteer of the Year for her ongoing commitment, leadership, and tireless contributions to the club. We’re so grateful for everything she does behind the scenes to make the Bulldogs the strong, community-focused club it is today.
💚❤️🏉
